BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS

17 yr old Londoner Tosin Omosebi won the National Theatre's New Views playwriting competition for her 1 act play, Re-Write. The neophyte's play "crackles with excitement and is wonderfully ambitious" according to Nicholas Hytner,  the National Theatre director and judge. Re-Write is the first play to be staged in the luminous and august Westminster Hall.

Miss Omosebi follows in the footsteps of fellow Brit Shelagh Delaney who penned the classic kitchen sink drama A Taste of Honey at 18. Kudos ladies!
