Here in the Teen Room we like to read. We like to talk about reading and books and get excited when you guys get excited about reading and books. We know reading gets complicated when someone tells what you HAVE to read, but guess what? Someone has told you just that. It's not as bad as you think, I swear.
In August the Teen Room will be hosting drop-in book discussions loosely based around the 4 required books on the CRLS list. Come in and talk with your peers about the book you're all reading!*
Monday Aug 1 @2pm: The Contender (9th grade)
Monday Aug 8 @2pm: The Book Thief (10th grade)
Monday Aug 15 @2pm: The Kite Runner + Movie (12th grade)
Monday Aug 22 @2pm: Malcolm X + Movie (11th grade)
Whether you just started, just finished, loved it or hated it, we'd love to see you here.
* If you don't go to CRLS by ALL MEANS stop in and talk about what you've been required to read. And if you've read something awesome in addition that you're dying to talk about, I'm sure everyone will be all ears.
