GLBT Pride Brunch @ City Hall this Saturday

From 9:30 to 11:00 at City Hall! This annual event celebrates the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered (GLBT) community in Cambridge. The brunch is family friendly and all members of the community are welcome to attend and enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and entertainment.

The keynote speaker will be Representative Marty Walz who has been a leading advocate on Beacon Hill in the fight for Anti-Bullying legislation.

Bus rides will also be provided to the Boston Pride March which starts at noon in the South End, so you need not slog on the MBTA! It is going to be rocking, folks.

Did you know that
(to quote Mayor Maher) “Cambridge was the first city in the Commonwealth to enact a non-discrimination law on the basis of sexual orientation, the first city to have a gay/straight alliance in a public school east of Mississippi and the first city in the nation to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples"?

Stay Proud, Cambridge!
